Post-Publication Discussion

The journal welcomes constructive, evidence-based discussion of published articles as part of its commitment to scholarly scrutiny, transparency, and the integrity of the scientific record. Readers may submit comments, requests for clarification, or concerns regarding published content to the Editor-in-Chief using the contact details provided on the journal’s website. Submissions should identify the article concerned, clearly explain the issues raised, provide supporting evidence or references where appropriate, and disclose any relevant competing interests.

All submissions will be assessed for their relevance, scholarly merit, and potential implications for the published work. Comments must address the content of the article and use respectful, professional language. Submissions may undergo independent expert review where necessary. Authors of the original article will normally be invited to respond to substantive comments or concerns. Constructive critiques and author responses may be published as correspondence, subject to editorial assessment, and linked to the original article. An author’s decision not to respond will not, in itself, prevent the publication of a substantiated critique.

Concerns about the accuracy, reliability, or ethical integrity of published work will be investigated in accordance with relevant Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidance. Where warranted, the journal will issue a correction, expression of concern, or retraction, depending on the nature and extent of the issue. Any such notice will clearly explain the reasons for the editorial action and be linked to the affected article. Editorial decisions will be based on the available evidence and the need to maintain an accurate and trustworthy scholarly record.
