Publication Ethics – Jurnal AgroGreen
AgroGreen journal (E-ISSN xxxx-xxxx) is a peer review journal published by Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Indonesia. The journal published original articles and reviews in the field of Agronomy. Started from 2025, the publication is twice a year, i.e. January and July.
Jurnal AgroGreen is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and to maintaining the integrity of the scientific record. This statement outlines the ethical responsibilities of authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher involved in the publication process.
1. Ethical Guidelines for Authors

Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

Proper citation and acknowledgment of the work of others must be given. All forms of plagiarism are strictly prohibited.

Authors must provide accurate data and results, with sufficient detail and references to allow others to replicate the work.

All individuals who made significant contributions to the research must be listed as co-authors.

Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation of the results.

If a significant error or inaccuracy is discovered in a published work, the author is obligated to notify the editor promptly for correction or retraction.
2. Ethical Guidelines for Editors

Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the manuscript’s scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and not disclose any information except to those involved in the review and publication process.

Editors must not use unpublished material from submitted manuscripts for their own research without the author's explicit consent.

Editors must take reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred.

Editors should ensure fair and unbiased peer review and prevent conflicts of interest.
3. Ethical Guidelines for Reviewers

Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively and provide constructive feedback in a timely manner.

Reviewers must treat submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and should not share or discuss them with others.

Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.

Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that could affect their review of a manuscript.
4. Ethical Guidelines for the Publisher

The publisher is responsible for ensuring that publishing processes run smoothly and ethically.

The publisher shall work closely with editors and authors to maintain academic integrity and address any ethical concerns or allegations of misconduct.

The publisher supports COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines and will take appropriate measures, including corrections or retractions, when ethical violations are confirmed.
