Author Guidelines
GUIDELINES FOR ARTICLE WRITING (SILINGKUNG STYLE): JURMADIKTA
1. Articles published are scientific works in the form of research results or theoretical studies in the field of Mathematics Education, that have not been published before and are not in the process of being published in other scientific publications.
2. The authors of the article are students, lecturers, practitioners, or researchers in the field of mathematics education.
3. Articles written in Indonesian follow the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling, consisting of 5-15 pages. They should be typed on A4-sized paper, in one column, with a top margin of 4 cm, left, right, and bottom margins of 3 cm, and a header and footer size of 1.27 cm. The systematics and font size instructions are explained as follows.
Title
Should be written briefly, informatively, and represent the overall content of the article. Consists of a maximum of 15 words, typed in Times New Roman Bold font size 14, left-aligned.
Author's Name and Email Address
The author's name should be written without abbreviations and titles, and an index is given to indicate institutional affiliation. Type in Times New Roman Bold font size 11, with single spacing.
Affiliation and Email Address
Details of the author's institutional affiliation should be written in the order of Study Program/Major/Department, University Name. If all authors come from the same affiliation, it can be written only once. The order of email addresses should start from the first author onward. Affiliation and email should be typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with single spacing.
Abstract
The abstract should be in Indonesian, consisting of 100-250 words. If the article is the result of research, the abstract will contain the background, research objectives, methods, and results or conclusions. Typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with single spacing.
Keywords
Written below the abstract, using lowercase letters except for names, arranged in alphabetical order and consisting of 2-5 words. Typed in Times New Roman font, size 11, with 1 spacing. Separated by semicolons (;).
[Research Article]
Introduction
Contains the background, the problem being researched, along with supporting literature review citing research journals and books, also includes the objectives and scope of the research (not necessary to separate or make a specific sub-section). Typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with 1.15 line spacing.
Research Methods
Contains the procedures for conducting the research, subjects or research samples, place and time of the research, research instruments, and data analysis conducted. If there are statistical formulas used as part of the research methods, it is better not to write common formulas.
Results and Discussion
Consists of results and discussions separately.
Results
Contains a detailed presentation of research data, including presenting calculation results, needs analysis results, etc. Can be presented in table or figure form. Typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with 1.15 line spacing.
Discussion
Discusses and analyzes the data produced with relevant theories or concepts, compares them with existing research, and presents findings from the research. Typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with 1.15 line spacing.
Conclusion
Contains conclusions that answer the research problem formulation, and also suggestions if any. Typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with 1.15 line spacing.
Acknowledgments (if necessary)
Directed to those or parties involved and assisting in the completion of research activities (if any). Typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with 1.15 line spacing.
References
Contains a list of literature used or cited in the writing. Arranged in alphabetical order and typed in Times New Roman font, size 11, with 1.15 spacing, following the APA style, 7th edition. The reference list must consist of at least 10 sources published within the last 10 years.
Reference Manager
It is recommended to use applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, and others.
Appendices (if necessary)
[Theoretical Study Article]
Introduction
Typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with 1.15 line spacing.
Sub-Topics
The number of sub-topics should be adjusted according to needs. The title should be written in bold (without numbering). Typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with 1.15 line spacing.
Conclusion
Summary of the discussion. Typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with 1.15 line spacing.
Acknowledgments (if necessary)
Directed to those or parties involved and assisting in the completion of research activities (if any). Typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with 1.15 line spacing.
References
Contains a list of references used or cited in the writing. Arranged alphabetically and typed in Times New Roman font size 11, with 1.15 line spacing, according to APA style edition 7.
Appendices (if necessary)
