Abstrak

The amount of waste generation in Banjarbaru City in 2021 according to data recorded by the National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN) is 60,120 tons / year with a total of 164.71 tons / day dominated by organic waste sourced from the household sector. Kampung Pelangi is one of the villages as well as a densely populated settlement that produces household waste every day, one of which is organic waste. The organic waste collected is then transported to the Landfill (TPA) which results in an increase in the amount of organic waste generation. One of the efforts that can be made to reduce the amount of environmentally sound organic waste generation in a fast time is to make organic waste as feed for eudrilus eugeniae worms in the vermicomposting process. This study aims to analyze the effect of household organic waste feeding on the biomass of the Eudrilus eugeniae worm. This study was conducted experimentally for 30 days using a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) of 3 treatment variations with 3 repetitions. Fruit Dominant Treatment of 25% food waste + 25% vegetable waste + 50% fruit waste on media showed the best results to support the biomass growth of Eudrilus eugeniae worms. The results of the analysis showed that the treatment with variations in the composition of the feed did not differ significantly (P>0.05) to the number and weight of the Eudrilus eugeniae worm.
