PLANNING FOR A CLEAN WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM IN THE VILLAGE OF GUMPA DUSUN TIMUR DISTRICT EAST BARITO REGENCY CENTRAL KALIMANTAN

Abstract

Uneven access to clean water distribution from PDAM Tamiang Layang City causes the people of Gumpa village in the dry season to have difficulty getting clean water. This problem can be solved by designing a water supply system independently. The purpose of this planning is to analyze the need for clean water by projecting total water needs, designing a clean water distribution and transmission system in Gumpa village. Measurement of spring raw water discharge is carried out by the method of volumetric measurement, water is transmitted with the help of centrifugal type pumps. The transmission and distribution of clean water uses a gravitational jetting system, and the pipe used in this planning is the HDPE pipe.
