The research
method employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments and six
replications, consisting of (P1) 80% tris aminomethane + 20% commercial chicken egg yolk
(KTR), (P2) 80% tris aminomethane + 20% local chicken egg yolk (KTK),and (P3) 80% tris
aminomethane + 20% quail egg yolk (KTP). The observed daily qualities of PE spermatozoa
included motility and viability until the motility reached 40%. The results showed that the
motility of PE spermatozoa on day 4, P3 (40.00%) was significantly higher (P<0,05) than P1
(25,83) and P2 (30,00). The viability of PE spermatozoa showed P3 (45.47%) was
significantly higher (P<0,05) than P1 (34,65) and P2 (39,93). In conclusion that combination
of tris diluent and various types of egg yolks could maintain the quality of PE spermatozoa on
day 3 above 40%, in accordance with the minimum motility requirments for spermatozoa as
in SNI 486.3:2014, which is a minimum of 40%, suitable for use in artificial insemination
Vol. 3 No. 1, Januari 2024 ISSN: 2442-7012
Jurnal Penelitian Peternakan Lahan Basah 19
programs. This research uses a
survey method. To measure the data research variables used, measurements were carried out
using the judgment sampling method. Judgment sampling is taking samples from relevant and
available information from certain sources and seeking information from livestock
stakeholders. Data were analyzed using a comparative method to determine the potential for
providing green fodder and developing beef cattle by comparing beef cattle populations
between villages in Bajuin District and also comparing it with existing literature studies. The
analysis carried out in this research includes Basic Livestock Commodity Analysis,
Contribution Analysis, Feed Potential Analysis, Regional Capacity Analysis, Livestock
Maintenance Performance and SWOT Analysis. The results of the research show that from nine villages in Bajuin District, the average LQ was 0.94-1.03. In the contribution analysis, it
was found that nine villages had positive contribution analysis values with feed potential in
Bajuin District of 10,572.61 tonnes of DM/year which could accommodate 3,173.07 units of
livestock. This shows that the beef cattle population in Bajuin District has the potential for
development. It can be seen from the available population and the abundant availability of feed
so that the capacity of the area in Bajuin District, which consists of nine villages, can be
developed for the development of beef cattle farming. However, efforts are also needed from
several parties to maximize the potential they already have so that business development can
be carried out optimally.
Muhammad Salman Anis Wahdi Nursyam Andi Syarifuddin Sista Rizqiana ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2024-01-17 2024-01-17 4 1 25 42 10.20527/jpplb.v4i1.2382 Income Analysis of Laying Duck Farms in Aluh-Aluh Sub-District, Banjar District http://jtam.ulm.ac.id/index.php/jppt/article/view/2384
This research aims to find out how much income the egg-laying duck farming business makes
in Aluh-Aluh District, Banjar Regency and evaluate the amount of fixed costs, variable costs,
revenue costs, profits and break even points of the laying duck farming business in Aluh-Aluh
District. This research be carried out in Aluh-Aluh District in Banjar Regency, South
Kalimantan. This research be carried out from March to December 2023 including
preparation, carrying out surveys or data collection, as well as the process of making reports.
The research method used in this research is the survey method, where the data taken is in the
form of primary and secondary data. The results of this research show that the average income
of broiler duck breeders in Aluh-Aluh District, Banjar Regency is different for each scale of
business owned. The largest income was Rp. 597,137,816, with a business scale of 1000
heads and the smallest is Rp. 206,704,600 with a business scale of 500 people. With a
business scale of 1000 heads the income obtained is much grat than with a business scale of
500 heads. A large business scale does not guarantee that the income earned will also be large,
it all depends on the management carried out by egg-laying duck breeders in Aluh-Aluh
District, Banjar Regency. The laying duck farming business in Aluh-Aluh District, Banjar Regency with a business scale of 500-1000 birds can be said to be profitable and efficient
because it has a profit value of R/C>1, namely with an average of 1.5 and a Break Even Point
(BEP) value that is The highest is on a scale of 1000 ducks with a total of 263,678 eggs and
the lowest Break Even Point (BEP) is on a scale of 500 ducks with a total of 135,402 eggs.
M.
