KELAYAKAN KUALITAS PERAIRAN KOLAM DI PERKEBUNAN KELAPA SAWIT DESA GUNUNG MELATI KECAMATAN BATU AMPAR KABUPATEN TANAH LAUT
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan perairan kolam ikan di perkebunan kelapa sawit dan tingkat kesuburan perairan. Parameter yang diukur yaitu: suhu, kecerahan, oksigen terlarut (DO), derajat keasaman (pH), nitrat (NO3) dan posfat (PO4). Analisis data menggunakan metode Environment Quality Index (EQI) dan tingkat kesuburan perairan dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan acuan studi pustaka.
Hasil kelayakan perairan kolam di lokasi penelitian dihitung menggunakan metode Environment Quality Index (EQI) menunjukan hasil baik pada A1 dan A2 minggu pertama disetiap stasiun sedangkan A3 sangat baik, minggu kedua setasiun A1 dan A3 menunjukan sangat baik dan stasiun kedua menunjukan baik. Pada minggu ketiga stasiun A1 dan A2 menunjukan baik sedangkan A3 sangat baik. Secara umum kondisi kualitas air pada setiap kolam sangat layak untuk kehidupan ikan budidaya (nila,papuyu dan patin). Berdasarkan tingkat kesuburan fosfat (PO4) dan nitrat (NO3) dari pengukuran di minggu pertama sampai minggu ketiga didapat rerata fosfat (PO4) (0,88mg/l, 0,18mg/l, 0,35mg/l) dan nitrat (NO3) (1,3mg/l. <0,1mg/l, <0,1mg/l) menunjukan katagori parairan yang masih di bawah nilai kesuburan perairan. Perairan kolam tersebut menunjukan katagori sangat layak untuk kegiatan budidaya dan kehidupan ikan.
This research was conducted to examine the qualification of the pond water quality in oil palm estate and the fertility level of the water. The measured parameters were: temperature, radiance, dissolved oxygen (DO), acidity (pH), nitrate (NO3) and phosphate (PO4). The data analysis used Environment Quality Index (EQI) method and the fertility level of the water was analyzed descriptively with reference literature.
The qualification result of the pond water quality in the research location calculated by the Environment Quality Index (EQI) method indicated good results at A1 and A2 for the first week in every station whereas A3 indicated a very good result, for the second week station A1 and A3 indicated very good results and station A2 in good result. The third week, station A1 and A2 indicated good result whereas A3 in a very good result. In general, the condition of the water quality in every pond was very decent for fish cultivation (tilapia, climbing perch, iridescent shark). Based on the fertility level of phosphate (PO4) and nitrate (NO3) from the first measurement to the third ones were found the average phosphate (PO4) was (0,88mg/l, 0,18mg/l, 0,35mg/l) and nitrate (NO3) was (1,3mg/l. <0,1mg/l, <0,1mg/l) which meant that the water qualification was still below the water fertility value. Hence the pond water indicated a very decent category for cultivation and fish lives.
