Abstract

Mangrove merupakan hutan bakau yang hidup di pengaruhi oleh pasang surut air laut. Dan  makrozoobenthos adalah hewan yang distribusinya mempengaruhi keberadaan mangrove. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas makrozoobenthos kawasan mangrove di Desa tanjung Samalantakan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2020 hingga Juni 2021 penentuan lokasi penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang ditentukan 3 lokasi yaitu lokasi I mewakili vegetasi mangrove bagian hilir ,lokasi II mewakili vegetasi mangrove bagian tengah, lokasi III mewakili vegetasi mangrove bagian hulu. Pengambilan sampel makrozoobenthos dilakukan dengan menggunakan transek dan plot kuadrat berukuran 1m x 1m, sebanyak 5 unit secara diagonal pada masing-masing plot. Hasil penelitian ini kepadatan yang tertinggi yaitu terdapat pada lokasi II berkisaran 450 ind/m2 dan yang terendah terdapat pada lokasi I dengan jumlah 345 ind/m2. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman (H’) pada berkisaran antara 1.41-2.23,nilai ini tergolong dalam kategori sedang, nilai indeks keseragaman (E) dengan nilai antara 0.64-0.90  tergolong kategori stabil, dan nilai dominansi (C) berkisaran antara 0.13-0.41 tergolong dalam kategori rendah.

Mangroves are mangrove forest that live influenced by the tides of sea water. And macrozoobenthos are animals whose distribution is influenced by the presence of mangroves.the purpose of this study was to determine the structure of the makrozoobenthos community in the mangrove area in the village Tanjung Samalantakan. This research was conducted from August 2020 to June 2021.determination of the location of study using a purposive sampling technigue which determined 3 research locations,namely location I representing the downstream mangrove vegetation, location II representing the middle mangrove vegetation, location III representing the upstream mangrove vegetation. Macrozoobenthos sampling was carried out using a transect and a square plot measuring 1m x 1m, 5 units diagonally in each plot.the results of this study were the highest density was found at location II with a total of 450 ind/m2 and the lowest was found in location I with a total of 345 ind/m2. The value of the diversity index (H ') in the range between 1.41-2.23, this value belongs to the medium category, The uniformity index value (E) ranged from 0.64-0.90 classified in the stable category, and the dominance value (C) ranged from 0.13-0.41 belonging to the low category.
