ANALISIS KUALITAS AIR HASIL OLAHAN LIMBAH CAIR DOMESTIK TERHADAP KELAYAKAN HIDUP IKAN DI IPAL PEKAPURAN RAYA, PD PAL BANJARMASIN, PROVINSI KALIMANTAN SELATAN
ANALYSIS OF WATER QUALITY OF PROCESSED DOMESTIC LIQUID WASTE TO THE FEASIBILITY OF FISH LIFE IN IPAL PEKAPURAN RAYA, PD PAL BANJARMASIN, SOUTH KALIMANTAN PROVINCE
Abstract
Perusahaan Daerah Pengelolaan Air Limbah (PD PAL) Banjarmasin merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang lingkungan dengan berfokus pada pengelolaan limbah domestik sebelum dilepaskan ke lingkungan perairan agar mampu meningkatkan kualitas air sungai di Banjarmasin. Air hasil olahan limbah cair domestik harus mampu memenuhi kelayakan hidup biota perairan khususnya ikan, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang analisis kualitas air hasil olahan limbah cair domestik terhadap kelayakan hidup ikan di IPAL Pekapuran Raya, PD PAL Banjarmasin, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Air hasil olahan limbah cair domestik yang dianalisis disesuaikan terhadap SNI perikanan budidaya untuk ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus Bleeker), ikan patin jambal (Pangasius djambal), ikan mas (Cyprinus Carpio Linneaus) dan ikan lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus) sebagai penentu kelayakan hidup ikan. Setelah dilakukan penelitian ini, maka didapatkan data bahwa air hasil olahan limbah cair domestik lebih cocok digunakan untuk memelihara ikan patin jambal (Pangasius djambal)
Perusahaan Daerah Pengelola Air Limbah (PD PAL) Banjarmasin is a company engaged in the environment by focusing on domestic waste management before it is released into the aquatic environment in order to improve the quality of river water in Banjarmasin. The processed water of domestic liquid waste must be able to meet the feasibility of aquatic biota life, especially fish, so it is necessary to conduct research on the analysis of water quality of domestic liquid waste processed to the feasibility of fish life in IPAL Pekapuran Raya, PD PAL Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan Province. The processed water of domestic liquid waste analyzed is adjusted to SNI aquaculture fisheries for tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus Bleeker), jambal catfish (Pangasius djambal), carp (Cyprinus Carpio Linneaus) and dumbo catfish (Clarias gariepinus) as determinants of fish life worthiness. After this research, data was obtained that water produced by domestic liquid waste is more suitable for maintaining jambal catfish (Pangasius djambal).
